I am grateful to the 10th District and their ruling which rightly leaves medically necessary care in the hands of parents and doctors - not schoolyard bully politicians. Legislators have no business being in the personal medical decisions of any Ohioan!

On this President’s Day, we reflect upon what makes someone a great leader. It takes a unique vision to seek to leave behind a world that is better than the world someone is born into. We should ask our leaders to put their selves aside in service of creating that better world. Presidents of the United States are in a unique position to lead, not only our nation, but to lead in setting an example for the rest of the world as well. Today, we celebrate those powerful, hopeful leaders who have come before us and how they aimed to shape this nation as a symbol of freedom and safety for all. Let’s move forward with renewed hope that we can continue the fight to preserve our rights and dignities as those who make up this great nation.
